New beginnings, new babies and new books!

Well last week was pretty busy in our house.

On Monday our sixteen year old son started at Plymouth Art College (he got lost on the way, but that's another story and I'm pretty sure he'd rather I didn't tell it here!), and so far he's loving the course, and has made loads of new friends.

On Wednesday our daughter gave birth to her first baby, thus turning us into grandparents.  That's a very scarey thought when you still feel nineteen inside!  Baby Harlie Eliza weighed in at 7lbs 7.5oz and is absolutely gorgeous.  :-)

Also on Wednesday, I signed a contract for my fifth book!  That was pretty exciting too, and I'm really looking forward to this one coming out.  It's totally unconnected with my previous books, and is more of a romantic comedy.  Not sure when it'll be out yet - sometime in the New Year I would guess - but I'm already getting excited!  So watch this space for more news as it comes in.  Or sign up for my newsletter to be kept fully informed.

And just in case anyone missed it, the fourth instalment in the NightHawk Series, The Girl in the Painting, came out at the end of July.

Check out my website for the first reviews of the book and for buy links.  :-)

I still can't believe you are a Grandma/Nanna. You don't look old enough.
You're Granddaughter is beautiful, bet you get lots of cuddles. x
