The story follows Fiona and her three friends (and dog), who go glamping at a 'Find Yourself' festival over the Bank Holiday weekend. They are all far more used to town life and camping in a muddy field (albeit in a luxury yurt) throws them out of their comfort zones. Having to pay the peculiar shower lady £5 for a ten minute shower was almost the last straw!
Well, I have to say the story didn't disappoint. I loved it. Right from the start I liked Fiona. She is a very sympathetically written character; very funny, and very easy to identify with! Even her hair going frizzy after a night in the tent made me feel an affinity with her! And then there's Sam. I don't think I'm giving too much away if I say I now have a serious character crush on him. Brilliant initial description of him too.
This was a great read. Easy, fun and enjoyable. I can highly recommend this book and look forward to Liz's next offering with anticipation.
